Xia Boyu is the first Chinese "hardcore man" to successfully climb Mount Everest with prosthetics! In 1975, Xia Boyu joined the Chinese mountaineering team. He helped his teammates while climbing Mount Everest, which resulted in his lower legs being amputated due to frostbite. However, he did not give up his dream of climbing Mount Everest.
